My FAVOURITE!!
So I just had mash for dinner & wanted to post. Went looking for recipes to link but none of them looked tasty!! For my mash ( & I would eat some every day if I could!!) I use;
New potatoes (leave the skin on, its adds texture & the skin is also v good for ya)
Butter
Milk (Full fat, none of this low-fat rubbish!)
Salt & Pepper
Method:
Chop & boil the potatoes for about 15/20 mins. Check towards the end and if they fall off the knife/fork you are good to go. Drain and leave to stand for about 30 secs. Add a good sized knob of butter & let it filter down through the potatoes. Add a little splash of milk, plenty of pepper & only a little salt (there’s already salt in the butter). Then get the masher and mash them in the pot (= less washing!) taste & add more butter if needed. Dollop out the serving and nom nom nom! Goes best with some sauteed onions and cumberland sausages.
